Cheap Staple Food Sales Opened For PHL and PPSU in S. Jakarta

South Jakarta Administration opens cheap staple food sales for freelancers (PHL) under South Jakarta Administration and PPSU officers from 10 sub-districts.

It aims to lighten their burden ahead of Eid ul-Fitr,

Assistant for South Jakarta Economic and Environment, Fredy Setiawan disclosed, there are 2,000 packages sold to them. They are 500 packages for freelancer and the 1,500 packages for PPSU.

"It aims to lighten their burden ahead of Eid ul-Fitr," he expressed, Monday (6/19).

Cheap Food Bazaar Opened in Five Island Settlements

He stated, per package is sold at Rp 75,000 containing five kilograms, two liters of cooking oil, two kilograms of sugar, one kilogram of wheat flour and one sardine can.

"We use non cash system here. Staple food for PPSU in each sub-district is about 150 packages," he told.

One of freelancers, Herni (38) admitted she was happy to get food package at low prices. "Surely happy, it can save our money during Eid ul-Fitr," she admitted.
